Order Terms & Conditions
Window & Door Project Order Terms
These terms apply to window and door quotations, orders, and material supply agreements issued by Hawaii Materials Company through its Hawaii Window Supply division. Because many products are manufactured, configured, finished, or sourced specifically for an individual project, customers should carefully review all product information before approving an order.
Order Requirements
Customers must provide the information necessary to quote and order the requested window and door package. This may include plans, window and door schedules, dimensions, quantities, specifications, product selections, finishes, glass requirements, performance requirements, and delivery information. Before ordering, the customer and/or the customer’s project professionals are responsible for verifying all dimensions, quantities, specifications, product selections, code requirements, opening requirements, and product suitability.
Payment Terms
Required deposits, progress payments, and final payment requirements will be stated on the applicable quotation, invoice, or order agreement. Unless otherwise stated in writing, orders are not released for procurement or production until the required payment has been received.
Production & Lead Times
Lead times vary by manufacturer, product line, configuration, finish, availability, production schedule, and shipping conditions. Estimated lead times provided during quoting are estimates only and may change due to circumstances outside our control.
Shipping & Logistics
Hawaii Window Supply coordinates procurement and logistics for window and door packages being delivered to Hawaii. Freight schedules, ocean transportation, inter-island transportation, carrier availability, port conditions, weather, and other factors may affect estimated delivery timing. Delivery requirements and any applicable freight or logistics charges will be addressed during quoting or order confirmation.
Claims & Damages
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery. Visible damage or shortages should be documented with photographs and noted on applicable delivery paperwork whenever possible. Any claim should be reported to Hawaii Window Supply as soon as reasonably possible so we can review the issue with the applicable supplier, manufacturer, or carrier.
Returns & Cancellations
Many window and door products are custom-manufactured, special-order, configured, finished, or procured specifically for an individual project. Orders may therefore be non-cancelable and non-returnable after approval, procurement, or production has begun. Any cancellation or return request is subject to the applicable manufacturer and supplier policies and must be approved in writing.
Customer Verification & Responsibility
Hawaii Window Supply does not provide installation, field measurement, measurement verification, engineering, permitting, or determination of building-code requirements. Final dimensions, quantities, specifications, product selections, code requirements, opening requirements, and product suitability must be provided and verified by the customer and/or the customer’s qualified project professionals before ordering.
Project-Based Supply
Hawaii Window Supply primarily serves builders, contractors, developers, commercial buyers, property owners, and homeowners purchasing larger window and door packages. Project size and product requirements are reviewed individually.
Pricing Disclaimer
Pricing and availability may change based on manufacturer pricing, material costs, freight rates, tariffs, product availability, configuration changes, and other market conditions until an order is formally accepted and required payment has been received.
